Welcome to Lingueworld, an online wiki where we are going to see and present different apps related to the languages.
We are Mar Martínez, Maria Serramitja, Gina Solórzano and Andrea Escrig, students of Applied Languages at the Pompeu Fabra University.
In this wiki, we will describe twenty apps related to the use of the language by linguists. This practice will last ten weeks and we will present it in four diferent projects.
The main point of this work is to understand how these linguistic apps work, and also to know its uses and characteristics, like, for instance: which language/s it uses, to whom it is adressed, what kind of technology it uses, what are its operations, where we can find it, what is its price…
Our objectives
- To show twenty apps related to the languages. To show the basic functioning and some of the important data, like for example the provider or the price.
- To learn the using of a Wiki and to know its operation and utilities.
- To provide all this information in a visual and easy way to all these people who could be interested in this topic.
